In the beginning there was the systainer. Martin Topel developed this “jewel of industrial design”* together with Herbert Pauser and managed to produce a product for eternity.
The thought trough tool transporting and packaging system won a total of 11 considerable design awards for Festo Tool Technology.
The highlight: the federal award for product design in 1994. Up until today 3 million sustainers have been produced and sold – an end is nowhere to be seen.
