Design Language
Squareone developed the new series of industrial plugs and sockets INNOLINQ for Bals Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG. Bals INNOLINQ stands for resource-saving production, recyclable materials and the highest environmental standards. The aim of the project was the conception of a new design language from 16A to 32A as well as ergonomics of the plugs.
The most important cornerstones of the design language were recognition value, improved ergonomics, long-term market relevance and transferability to other product lines.
The optimized contours of the housing and the screw connection make handling easier and offer a perfect hold in every situation. The revised ergonomics also make it easier to open the hinged lid.
