Solidus Solutions unites five paper mills and eleven paper processing companies, most of which were operated independently of each other in the past. This resulted in different ERP and CRM systems and an enormous number of product SKUs.This confusing structure made it difficult for both sales and customers to quickly find the right products.

Thanks to our comprehensive 360° analysis, we were able to gain a holistic overview of Solidus Solutions' needs. Our analysis of the sales data made it possible to identify the relevant products according to the 80/20 Pareto principle.Working closely with sales and product management, we defined the most important products for all locations in several workshops.

The restructured product range forms the basis for a clear ERP logic that differentiates between standard products, configurable products and customised developments. This reorganisation promotes synergy effects, reduces complexity and enables Solidus Solutions to offer competitive prices.In addition, sales tools such as a product configurator have been developed and the lead-to-order process has been optimised to standardise workflows.

A particular highlight of our collaboration was the development of an innovative packaging concept for shipping succulents.Solidus Solutions now offers an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic flower pots. The new packaging system, consisting of biodegradable cardboard pots, shipping boxes and POS elements, supports plant retailers in presenting their products in a sustainable and customised way.

As external consultants with design expertise, we accompanied Solidus Solutions through the entire change process and helped to successfully anchor the new portfolio management system in the company.Thanks to a global and standardised approach, the company was able to make its internal processes more efficient while remaining competitive.
