Award winning design

For Bals Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG, Squareone developed the new series of industrial plugs and sockets INNOLINQ, which is characterized by resource-saving production, recyclable materials and the highest environmental protection standards. The goal of the project was the conception of a new design language and the creative as well as ergonomic redevelopment of the plugs and sockets from 16A to 32A.

The most important cornerstones of the design language were recognition value, improved ergonomics, long-term market relevance and transferability to other product lines.

The optimized contours of the housing and the screw connection facilitate handling and provide a perfect grip in any situation. The revised ergonomics also make it easier to open the hinged lid.

Squareone was also responsible for the marketing strategy and communication design of the new INNOLINQ series.
