Design & functionality in the smallest space

DEHN benefits from our cooperation by using innovative approaches to develop a new generation of lightning current and surge arresters that are specifically tailored to the needs of users and the high technical requirements of DEHN.

In an innovation workshop organised and moderated by us, we were able to discuss the requirements for a future-oriented product and develop solution approaches together with DEHN's product management and development team. This cooperative environment served as the starting point for the entire product development.

One of the exciting challenges we identified and mastered during this innovation workshop was the optimisation of the device design. Despite the minimal construction width of only 6 mm, we managed to ensure optimal functionality. Furthermore, we focused on a quick and easy installation of the product as well as on the development of a mechanism for disconnecting the signal circuit without tools. This greatly facilitates maintenance work and thus increases user-friendliness.

With a continuous development of the existing product language, we have improved both the housing design and the product graphics. As a result, our collaborative approach has enabled us to develop a product that meets both user needs and DEHN's high technical requirements, which represents significant added value for DEHN.
