Our approach
We support our clients throughout the entire process – from the initial idea to the finished product.
By closely integrating design, engineering, material expertise and brand competence, we create packaging solutions that are equally compelling in functional, aesthetic and emotional terms. We combine structural packaging design and engineering with expertise in brand, CMF and storytelling, turning an initial vision into a product that makes brands tangible and engages users.
Concept development & graphic execution
Understanding brand, product and user
We develop packaging concepts that combine functionality, protection and brand impact. At the same time, we design the packaging’s visual identity – from layouts and key visuals through to colour and material compositions.
The result is a packaging concept that is convincing both visually and structurally.
User Experience
Opening, use and reuse
Packaging is interaction. We design usability and haptics to make the unboxing experience intuitive, satisfying and memorable. From first contact through opening to reuse or disposal, every step is carefully considered and aligned with the brand experience.
Material expertise
Every material tells its own story
We bring extensive expertise in plastic systems, pulp-based solutions and paperboard packaging. This allows us not only to select the right material, but also to fully understand its limitations, possibilities, sustainability potential and production requirements.
Design for Sustainability
Sustainability as an integral part of design
We optimise packaging with regard to resource efficiency, material use, recyclability and CO₂ reduction, while taking existing infrastructures, supply chains and manufacturing processes into account.
The result: solutions that are both environmentally responsible and economically viable.
Prototyping & Testing
Only what convinces moves forward
Before a packaging solution goes into series production, it has to prove what it can do. Through prototyping – from quick mock-ups to highly precise functional samples – we make ideas tangible and testable.
Mechanical and haptic testing allows us to validate stability, functionality, usability and brand impact. Only what performs convincingly in testing moves forward.
Translation into production data
The final step is often the most critical
Good packaging must work smoothly in production. Depending on the manufacturing process, it must be optimised either for manual handling or automated processing. In close cooperation with your suppliers, we refine your packaging concept until it is ready to be handed over to engineering. This may also include on-site visits to carefully assess colour impact and processing quality.

Packaging Design as part of our service rage
Packaging design is one of several components we offer within the field of design. Constraints relating to materials, manufacturing and costs create different conditions than those found in traditional product development. Effective packaging design is both appealing to the end user and efficient for you as the provider.
