Sonify by Zentia
Acoustic ceiling solution
Innovative fixing solution for ceiling systems
As part of a comprehensive development and consulting engagement, Squareone partnered with the UK suspended ceiling manufacturer Zentia to develop Sonify, an innovative acoustic ceiling system conceived as digitally native from the outset. The goal was to combine maximum design freedom for architects with high precision and efficiency in both planning and installation.
At the core of the innovation is a patented fixing system that enables precise alignment of the modules and reduces installation time by up to 50 percent. Through its consistent integration into a digital planning tool, Sonify is designed as a fully digital planning system from day one. This creates reliability and clarity from early design and configuration through to installation.
Sonify is therefore not just a product, but part of our holistic approach through which we supported Zentia in establishing itself as an independent, architecture-focused brand.
Design freedom for diverse applications
Sonify’s extensive design versatility is the result of a well-considered system and configuration logic. From the very beginning of development, configurability was treated as a core principle, resulting in a structure that enables maximum flexibility while remaining intuitive and easy to manage.
A wide range of shapes, colours and configurations can be realised within a single coherent system and planned precisely using digital tools. Acoustic elements can be deployed as baffles or canopies and flexibly varied in height, angle and arrangement. This logic gives rise to a broad, scalable product portfolio that achieves great diversity with only a limited number of SKUs and convinces both aesthetically and operationally.
Holistic development from concept to market launch
Squareone supported the development of Sonify end to end, from the first sketch through design engineering, prototyping and testing right down to the final screw. In addition to system and product development, we also designed the installation processes and ensured that assembly is intuitive, precise and efficient.
As part of our comprehensive support for the implementation of Sonify, we also took responsibility for communication and presentation across multiple media. This included the development of a digital configuration tool to support architects and planners, as well as the creation of presentations and print and digital content. As a result, Sonify is not only technically clear, but also communicated consistently and convincingly across all relevant touchpoints.
